With 17 total votes (the most we've had in a single round lately), a bit over 40% of them went to Available Light, and so it is out at 25th place. Every song from the band's 2nd and 3rd Sectors still remain in there, and it'll be interesting to see if all of them make it to the Top 20!

As a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

Huh?
By that, I mean all the songs that entered the Finals from the band's Sector 2 (AFTK-MP) and 3 (SIG-HYF) have remained in the Finals thus far, and that makes sense since those 8 are typically the more well-liked and well-known albums by the band (though that isn't to say their other 11 albums aren't as good or loved).

If you've never heard the term Sector used to describe each of Rush's 4-album periods, it comes from the last box sets that were released about a decade ago I believe. Sectors 1-3 included 4 studio albums and the following live album that ended each grouping. And while not officially labeled as such, Presto-TFE w/DS can be considered Sector 4.

I'm right with ya - can't understand how something as honest and heartfelt as Available Light could have been voted out this early.
