Secul's spicy anti-prog miniroulette v3.5. AN UPDATE!1!!!!

Hi folks, welcome to my new roulette! It's been a handful of years since the last iteration, and I promise this one will be quite a bit more pleasant . Similar to current roulettes, there will be a small twist to this one: no prog. I just can't really get anything more out of it, even from bands that I used to love, I can't connect with their new stuff most of the time. And there's a huge world of beautiful music outside it so I don't really have any interest in the genre these days.

Format

• 4 regular rounds, 1 final EP round
• Each submission is a set of songs from a given artist, no more than 20 mins total. That's a hard limit. No maximum nor minimum amount of songs per artist.
• You can include from a side project if it's basically another moniker for the same band/artist, but those will be banned for future entries as well.
• Scores will be given in a scale of 1 to 5, with half values. So only 4 and 4.5 but no 4.3 nonsense .

Rules

• No prog is allowed, neither in rock nor metal form.
• Any banned artist cannot be sent.
• Any artist whose submission gets rated 4 out of 5 or more, is banned.
• I prefer spotify but youtube playlists are fine too. Send me files as a last resort.
• No eliminations except for the EP round, in which the everybody will compete against each other from bottom to #1. More info on the third post.

Tastes
This is usually the most confusing part of my roulettes so I'll split it in two:

What I dislike
Power Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal, Grindcore, and whatever The Apologist is, just don't do it for me at all. I just can't connect with any of these genres for some reason, and I've tried quite a lot. Most Prog Metal I just find uninteresting outside of some artists I'm fond of, yet people insist on sending me stuff anyway, which usually results in meh scores. I'm also not fond of Dad Rock although there are some fine exceptions, so be very careful with this. For reference, some bands that I don't like at all:

What I like
These days my tastes are all over the place but I'm really enjoying Electronic Music, Synthpop, Industrial, Art Pop, Drone / Dark Ambient, Alternative Metal, even some Gothic, Drone, and Doom Metal. I've been getting into Hip Hop and some Jazz lately. Metalcore and Hardcore Punk are stuff I want to get into more, just beware it doesn't get too chaotic like TDEP most of the time. Post-Rock I love although I'm quite picky as most of it is a bland copy of Explosions In The Sky, which I'm not very fond of. For reference, some of my all-time favorites:

EP Round Rules

• Hard time limit: 35 mins (34:59)
• At least 2 different artists
• At least 2 songs
• Everybody can send an EP, it will be a fierce competition from the bottom up: the last player's EP will compete against the second to last player's EP, the winner competes against the following player up in the leaderboards, etc. In case of a tie, a quick tiebreaker will happen, in which each player involved will send only one song.
• Score will be out of 20 plus flow and your current roulette score. Flow will count up to 5 points.
• If in doubt if any of your artists are banned, send me a PM.
• You can PM me a single mp3 file with a tracklist with edited transitions if you fancy.

Probably during the weekend, but don't worry, they'll be pretty simple as usual. Likely a hard limit on 30 ~ 35 mins and a minimum set of artists and time.
