2112 is out, barely losing over Clockwork Angels, which might be the next to go, and if it does, it's had a heck of a run reaching the Top 8!

Fun fact, GUP is the only album left whose title isn't a plural/ending in an "s'! Rush sure did have a lot of those, didn't they?

Grace

I 100% understand that the Rush discography is diverse and that everyone will love different things about different albums.  To me, Grace is such an underrated gem and should be acknowledged as a classic 80's album.  Grace has a bit of a Police vibe to it, but is classic 80's hard rock/rock to me.  Clockwork Angels isn't in the same stratosphere as Grace Under Pressure as far as I'm concerned.

DEW is absolutely fantastic, without a doubt.  Red Sector A is a beaut, and I'm a big fan of The Enemy Within.  The rest borders on 'filler' status (imo).  Truthfully, I rate HYF above GUP.  Presto too.

There's very little about GUP that is "hard rock."  I've said it before, and I'll say it again:  GUP suffers from poor production, including instrument tones and, in the case of the keyboards, patch choices.  The guitars are harsh and tinny.  Geddy's Steinberger bass is weak.  Neil's acoustic drums are ok, but the electronic drums, while perhaps the best they could do at the time, sound amateurish.  The album is also not exactly Neil's finest moment in terms of playing.  The songs themselves aren't bad, though.  A great example is The Body Electric.  It and Red Lenses are the two songs I like least on the album, but this cover is EXCELLENT:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVDDub4UtPU  Give the guitar and bass some balls and use an all-acoustic drum kit, and it kinda kicks ass.

P.S.  Check out any of YYNOT's Rush covers and enjoy.
