They are awesome ! The hi hats are SO quiet. They are called L80s because they are 80% quieter than regular cymbals.

Same with the REMO Silent Stroke Drumheads. The noise reduction is insane but you still feel like you're playing all regular drums / cymbals.

That is super cool. I think I've seen pictures of these floating around but I never thought they were low volume cymbals, just a stylistic choice.

I was quite surprised how well they sound and feel playing. I have a small acoustic kit with low volume cymbals and silent mesh heads in my apartment.
I use it mainly to teach at home which has been handy during the pandemic.

Although the idea that you can play all day in your room with the windows open and nobody will hear it is pish.

I play my low volume cymbals and my silent stroke snare head and either side of my room is thick concrete walls - then a corridor then thick concrete walls then houses.

And my neighbour can still hear when I play.So that's bogus. It's just nowhere near as loud as a real kit.

Getting the 18" Crash/Ride to replace the final rubber cymbal then it'll be almost finished !

I'm thinking of getting all white REMO mesh heads for the toms to really make it look snazzy. Dunno yet.

I have those same Zildjian cymbals and they are quite impressive!

I really want one of those as well, but there's no room in my home for something like that. Especially since I already have a bunch of musical instruments at home.

The basic electric kit doesn't take up much space ( see the 1st post ). But yeah you need to spread it out a bit to get the real drumkit feel.
