FYI, I don't get serious with my listening until I have all the submissions. Since I didn't get the last submission until like, Wednesday or Thursday, listening has been a bit slow. And that's not to blame the people who send last, that's just how it is :)

I also left my earbuds at home so there goes Monday morning :(

BTW I'm (finally, after all this time) putting together a spreadsheet with every single submission across my 5 roulettes. Almost done. Haven't included this roulette's submissions yet but we're already at 550 rows  :lol yeah... no roulettes from me for a loooooong time once this wraps up.

EDIT: 700 and counting  :lol

It's done. Ya'll... there have been over 1100 submissions in my 5 roulettes. And one of those roulettes was cut short early on, and another was pretty short. Roulettes 2 and 5 have had ridiculous amounts of music. So has 1, but I only counted the albums in the spreadsheet and didn't listen the individual songs.

It's a handy list for reference although unfortunately I probably won't ever run a roulette again because seriously just look at this ridiculously huge list I can tap this well for years to come

edit: lol first time putting a spreadsheet on google so idk why the format is messed up and more cumbersome compared to excel but I'm definitely not gonna try to fix it so w/e
edit 2: nvm fixed it
edit 3: nvm didn't

Awesome! I recently made a list of all the songs people sent to me in all my roulettes too. I put everything in a Spotify playlist, except for the songs that are not on there, and I’ve been going through that over the past couple of weeks. Very nice to revist some stuff I never really got to check out further.

I was half-joking half-serious. I didn't get much listening done this weekend because *life reasons* so the round is taking a bit longer than usual + today was the busiest day of work all year so I didn't get any listening done... yeah. There are still a few submissions I need more time with before I'm comfortable doing writeups.

Sorry ya'll this round is definitely going to take a bit longer. It's a total clusterfuck over here atm. But, progress is happening. And there's only one more round so I don't feel quite as bad about this one taking longer although I'm fully aware Indi, for example, has to get back to work soon so I'm not dragging ass or anything  :lol

Only a few!  :lol You've sent me some wicked music. The Sieges Even remains one of your best submissions ever, which led directly to Subsignal, who I saw last year at ProgPower, so yay  :heart

In my listening, I was led to a Chick Corea workshop. https://youtu.be/epFmSm26NGM

I have to say, regardless of who wins this, Indi has forever charmed me by introducing me to Chick Corea, someone I should have been listening to many many years ago, my god

Well yeah if you include every individual song from multi-track submissions then of course you're going to have a massive list. My v6 alone was, interestingly enough, exactly 666 tracks. :lol But only 176 submissions covering around 200 artists, which is the more relevant number for me.

Ariich is a freak, or somehow has more hours in the day than everyone else.

Hmm... maybe you'd like some comparisons to chew on. Maybe I'm referring to you, maybe I'm not! This is compared to round 6 - not necessarily indicative of scores although, well, it is a little bit

1. Evermind =
2. HOF ^
3. kingshmegland v
4. Shadow Ninja 2.0 v
5. ariich ?? (hard to say, they're two wildly different kinds of music)
6. Puppies_On_Acid v
7. Indiscipline =
8. Elite v
9. Sacul v
10. Podaar ^
11. Stadler =
12. Bolsters =
13. Big Hath ^
14. Buddyhunter1 v
15. wolfking ^
16. Train of Naught ?? (most difficult submission of round 7 to think about)
17. romdrums =
18. jingle.boy v
19. TAC v

This is a really difficult round to rank. There are a couple clear winners in here and I know who's on the bottom end but I still have to figure out the middle.
