Totally. When he hits that line. Big time.

Tim, you forget me?  Lol

I tried, but you're in there.

The first one judging by Tim's EJ comments?

The first and last ones are Eric Johnson.

Yours is not the first. ;D

“But Katt! What about rock music?” So… I don’t want to be a tight-ass about rock, but I want to discourage sending it. If you must send something rock-oriented, at least make it adventurous, for my sake and the sake of your score. Blues and rock go hand in hand, but I’d prefer it lean heavily into the blues elements. Folk rock, I don’t really know what it is but I know it when I hear it… I’m not really looking for that, but again, if you must, make it adventurous. If it’s funky, it better be funky. Post-rock, of course, is welcome because, well, I love post-rock, I’ve heard a lot of it, but there’s a lot of different kinds of post-rock. What I will put a hard ban on is anything that can be called ‘classic rock’ or ‘hard rock.’ I’m really not looking for rock music in this roulette but I probably won’t turn it down either as long as it isn’t basic bitch rock n’ roll, if you’re desperate.

From the OP. I'm going to be stricter on rock submissions going forward. Only send rock if you really don't have other genres to pick from, please. Spirit of the roulette, y'know. Some of the best shit has been completely out of left field

i think only one of my submissions could even vaguely be lumped into "rock" and even then i'd be hard-pressed to call it rock

definitely not any of my submissions thus far though :P

George Michael is either the Village People one, or his childhood??  I’m guessing the former, as Wham and Faith were released when Cranklestein would’ve been 16 and 18.

Might be misleading if you're thinking about your scores... I know who's scoring high and who's scoring low... midfield is a bit crowded

Re-posting this as I'm expecting to see a lot more of those vs in the future

Also I'll be honest with you, I'm looking at my shortlist of video game soundtracks to send you for the rest of the roulette and the level of quality isn't quite where I'd like it to be. :P A lot of it works well in-game but the amount of video game music I seriously enjoy listening to on its own is a bit limited. There's at least a few non-video game, non-prog or metal artists I could send that I personally enjoy much more and I think would go over well. But I did say I'd be willing to send you nothing but video game music, so... the choice is yours. I can stick to that promise or I can throw some other stuff in there too that might be better suited for standalone listening.

Sometimes when I get bored I listen to the Donkey Kong Country or Pokemon RBY soundtracks in full.

The DKC soundtrack might be some of my all-time favorite music anywhere. Specifically DKC1. Miss me with DKC2 and 3.

I remember when Donkey Kong came out Nintendo released a promotional video of some sort (must have been on VHS, not sure how we got it) that talked about the production of the game and mentioned that they developed the soundtrack as something that people might want to listen to outside of the game. The music was pretty cool from what I remember.
