It is pretty difficult to get that balance right. What I've been finding works OK is having some that are vague and others that are more obvious.

Also having groupings/categories that help people narrow things down.

And finally being a bit more descriptive in ways that could refer to a few submissions but not all, e.g. warm, energetic, etc.
