Speaking of impressions, where TF is Crankshaft? Sleeping on the job? Not ready to post all 19 of his 0/10s? :lol Not sure if I have much else to really contribute until I have results though, honestly. I still need to make another few passes at all these songs which I can get done throughout the day and evening when I do cardio, but they likely won't be until Friday, so everyone's got the whole weekend to send.

Feel free to guess, and I'll tell you if you're right. All of these are my literal first thoughts after finishing them, so some could have even changed already, or will change again by results...

13. This voice reminds me of a band I can't stand

19. Vocals: eh, everything else: yes

These are probably the two Kip Winger entries. I once showed a music professor some of Kip’s music in college, and he listened for about a minute before turning it off and saying “the vocals sound like Bon Jovi!”  ::)

Close, but no cigar.

Well, now I’m hoping for 2 or 8!

Let's say 6 as my second guess, but yeah, they're much more vague than Rich's so if it's not 6 then it's whatever, I'm going to discover which one is mine when you post the results

It is not!

TAC has no actual role in this roulette, he just kind of inserted himself into posting his own smartass commentary on everyone's submissions. I make the scores, I am the captain of this ship, he is simply the dude working in the boiler room who wears the captain's hat and pretends to be in charge when I'm not around.  :lol  love ya Tim

Hey no, it actually makes a lot of sense because my third guess would've been 4, but I feel if I haven't got it from the first two guesses then that's it, have to wait for it to be revealed :lol I guess it sounds fairly positive then, huh, we'll see

It is pretty difficult to get that balance right. What I've been finding works OK is having some that are vague and others that are more obvious.

Also having groupings/categories that help people narrow things down.

And finally being a bit more descriptive in ways that could refer to a few submissions but not all, e.g. warm, energetic, etc.

Ariich is a freak, or somehow has more hours in the day than everyone else.
