I found out recently that Terra Incognita might be the heaviest thing ever.
Lizard Skin! I think that song might be the heaviest thing I've ever heard

Lizard Skin is tied for my favourite Gojira song with Death of Me. Dem riffs :2metal:

Because I have to listen to Christmas music all day at work, I've decided that lunch time Gojira time. I need all the metal I can get.
Cole: "Ow I just got hit in the balls"
Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

I swear I remember there being an announcement earlier this year that said they were working on an EP. What the shit happened to that?

This is all wikipedia says on it:

Gojira have currently entered the studio to record their latest 4-song EP dedicated to Sea Shepherd. According to Joe Duplantier, the EP will feature guest appearances from the international metal scene.

So, I have listened to The Way of All Flesh and I think it is a kickass album. It is badass but, as of right now, not as badass as From Mars to Sirius. I love the album's usage of clean(sorta) vocals and like From Mars to Sirius, you have some serious riffage. The one song I can't seem to get into like everyone else seems to is Toxic Garbage Island. After about a combined 2 listens, I think The Art of Dying is the best song on the album.

Yeah, that song is pretty awesome, though I didn't care for it much at first either.

I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

First listen off the CD. Great fucking album. I still need to get into In The Wilderness and Global Warming, but other than that, I love every song. Even the instrumental which is so not me! :D

Gojira is pretty high on my list of bands I really need to see live. I can only imagine how amazing they are.

I "have" it. They are one of the 3 artists I am checking out at the moment. That album will come eventually. I have 4 by one band, 6 by another, and I am on The Way of All Flesh by Gojira now. So, they will get their shot before the month is out.

Same. They are on my list of 4 shows I will most likely be attending alone if they actually tour this year.

It is no where near my favorite but it is probably my favorite off The Way of All Flesh. It is probably because From Mars to Sirius has had more time to digest but most of the songs on there, are better than all the songs on The Way of All Flesh. That will change with time though.

I have come to a conclusion...

From Mars to Sirius>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>The Way of All Flesh

After listening to FMtS and giving the TWoAF my first good listen. Like sitting down and really listening, this album is a disappointment compared to the awesomeness that is From Mars to Sirius. The Link is next.

The Way of All Flesh is just okay in general. I mean, it's not a bad album by any means. But if you ask me, it's the most average Gojira could ever sound. And that's saying a lot, because there are a shit ton of strong moments on the album.

I still think The Link is their strongest album, but that's just me. LISTEN TO IT NOW GOD DAMN IT COLE.

I will, I will.

And talking about The Way of All Flesh, the only song, to me, that matches up with the awesomeness that is From Mars to Sirius is A Sight to Behold. That is a sick song.

Vacuity is ok. It is pretty heavy and is one of the better songs on the album. I'm just talking about matching up to FMtS.
