This Dying Soul Solo
« on: May 03, 2020, 03:19:26 PM »
Hi!
I am learning/practicing "This Dying Soul" at the moment (and have been for quite a while...). It's no secret, that the quality of the transcriptions in the ToT guitar tab book isn't always quite perfect.
Does anyone in here have any information on the guitar solo right before the unison, especially the fast alternate picking run right before it goes into the unison?
In the book it's notated as sextuplets, quintuplets and septuplets and I doubt that's what JP actually played.
There also are no isolated tracks of Train of Thought available, so that's not helpful either.

Stay safe everyone!!!
Julius

I've read, that there's a powertab by Jordan Baker (Bakerman), who is one of the two transcribers for the new books, out there somewhere. Does somebody in here still have that?

You could ask DT89

He's pretty good at transcribing and has been doing a series on youtube about DT tabs. If not, This tab is very accurate. It has some mistakes here and there but those could be corrected easily.
