I won't make exceptions as I want to be fair. I'll consider upping the limit to 5 if enough people make the case for it, but I would prefer to keep it at 4 because I'm going to have a ludicrous amount of music to check out after this roulette as it is.

Remember short intros/interludes don't count towards the 4 artists.

yeah they're 5 full songs all in the 5-8 minutes range unfortunately 
all the other rules i feel are totally reasonable (i'm honestly amazed you let even 35 minutes of music, i'd have set it to 30 with this # of participants) but arbitrarily limiting the # of artists strikes me as weird. maybe it's just me because i'm the guy who almost always sends EPs with no repeat artists, barring whenever i send a pop EP and don't have a very deep well to draw from at least 

my round 7 submission is dependent on the answer to this because if i can only send 4 artists in the EP round then the 5th one is getting the round 7 spot and i'll just toss out the one i vaguely had in progress (probably a post-roulette album to send you tbh, i don't have as much confidence in it as any other round so far anyways even if it's a personal fave) so... ehh

I mean, I explained it in my previous post. Also, this from the guy who arbitrarily set a specific number of tracks in your last EP round.

You only used 5 artists in your concept album in my last roulette, and that was more than twice as long as the limit for this EP round.

I do feel that 4 artists is pretty reasonable for a 35 minute limit, on the basis that people will generally use the odd long song or repeat artist. But again I'm not against changing this rule, as long as people have the chance to express whether they think it would be unfair (e.g. if they've already planned an EP based on the original restrictions). So given you need to know enough in advance of round 7, let's just give it a couple of days (i.e. until Monday, which is normally when hangman happens) to give people a chance to offer opinions.

I've been working on and tweaking mine for the last few weeks already. Still working on it, as a matter of fact. I want it to be perfect, even though I have no illusions of winning this roulette. I just want the best EP

i probably won't have the "best" EP but i will be more satisfied with the 5-track one than the 4-track one

I'm really excited and slightly daunted by this EP round. It's going to be a ridiculous amount of music and I'm going want to give all of it a good amount of attention. I know for a fact that I won't turn it around in a week. But then I'm sure I can drag the posting of results out over a good few days when there are 22 of them.
