Should the max number of artists in the EP round be increased from 4 to 5?

Yes that would be much better and Cyril is very attractive.

No that's a terrible idea, Cyril should be stoned.

@cyril: how did you figure out I sent Portico Quartet? I think it's the first time I've used them in a roulette

Round 3 first impressions

1.   Huge. [Lethean – Borknagar]
2.   My head! [Shadow – Architects]
3.   My eyelids! [LordCost – Soundgarden]
4.   My tear ducts! [Indi – Dire Straits]
5.   Gorgeously gloomy. [Sacul – Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man]
6.   If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. [TAC – Aephanemer]
7.   Just as groovy as I was expecting. [lonestar – Kiyosen]
8.   Even groovier than I was expecting. [Katt – The Night Flight Orchestra]
9.   Rocks harder than I thought it might. [Tomi – Birth Control]
10.   Heavy and catchy – immediately appealing. [Luoto – MyGrain]
11.   Nothing special, but very good at what it does. [wolfking – Vanishing Point]
12.   Not sure it’ll change my mind, but it’s pretty rocking. [Stadler – Dio]
13.   Sonically rich and warm – sounds like my kind of thing. [Cyril – Billie Eilish]
14.   This seems to be a gorgeous mix of ethereal and grounded. [Evermind – Marketa Irglova]
15.   Not too hot on the singer, but this is enjoyable nonetheless. [Jingle – Primal Fear]
16.   Sounds like solid prog, but it’s not really doing it for me so far. [Elite – Darkwater]
17.   Sounds like solid prog, enhanced by a cool range of influences. [king – Southern Empire]
18.   Sounds like solid prog, even if perhaps not desperately original. [romdrums – Thematic]
19.   This sounds fantastic, lots of influences but all very coherent and heartfelt. [Puppies – Matthew Good]
20.   A fusion of two genres that is great when done right, and this is done right. [Nekov – Portico Quartet]
21.   Resembles another band I find merely decent, which might be the case here too. [Train – Junius]
22.   Not sure how well I’d cope with a whole album of this madness, but I’m enjoying it in this small dose. [Buddy – Destrage]

NFO has to be one of these. Looking forward to 16th place with an 8.0 :neverusethis:

Huh.  I have no clue which one is mine.

1.   Huge.
2.   My head!
3.   My eyelids!
5.   Gorgeously gloomy.
6.   If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. [TAC – Aephanemer]
9.   Rocks harder than I thought it might.
11.   Nothing special, but very good at what it does.
12.   Not sure it’ll change my mind, but it’s pretty rocking.
19.   This sounds fantastic, lots of influences but all very coherent and heartfelt.
21.   Resembles another band I find merely decent, which might be the case here too.
22.   Not sure how well I’d cope with a whole album of this madness, but I’m enjoying it in this small dose.

If I had to commit, I'd say 11.  I kept 6 because that would have been my first pick.

I think you'd be able to handle the full album fine; there are a few more grounded tracks that keep the record from being too crazy, but I didn't think they were that interesting in comparison to the three I sent.

Ralf Scheepers is awesome imo. Definitely hit or miss but when I saw him in 2016 he gave one of the best live metal vocal performances I've ever seen. Guy hits high notes like they're effortless for him and he always sounds like a powerful demon no matter where in his range he's singing. He also looks like he could take your head clean off your shoulders with one punch.

And even though he so badly wants to be Halford, I think he's way better than Halford. Good choice of songs Chad. (If I were sending I would've gone with stuff like Nuclear Fire, but I'm curious how Rich will react to the longer stuff)
