That's only a few people, most submissions are Spotify playlists. Lots of different approaches taken (stories, themes, or just collections of similar style songs) but there's amazing stuff from each approach - there was no requirement for a concept this time, just points for how well it flows.

It was track 1 already in the very first EP draft There was another Illyria track planned before, but the fact they got sent earlier on drove some changes to the final EP because otherwise it would've been only one new artist.

Happy to reveal all the remaining impressions now that nobody else is guessing, but I still don't think I'll be in a position to start results until Tuesday.

However, one idea I could steal from Tim is to post my favourite and least favourite song (so far anyway) from each EP?

Oh sorry, I completely misunderstood. I'm dumb.

A top and bottom is hard enough for some EPs, so I'm not sure I could rank all tracks on every EP (though some I definitely could). Hmm, I'll think about it. It'll need to be tomorrow either way as I'll want to complete my current round of listening first. I'll definitely post at least tops and bottoms tomorrow, maybe full rankings if I'm able to.

1.   Powerful, proggy and very emotive. [Evermind]
2.   This seems like a bit of a mixed bag. [Lethean]
3.   Your good run seems to be continuing. [Sacul]
4.   I’m enjoying the fun, energetic metal here. [wolfking]
5.   A very nice selection of pretty emotive prog. [king]
6.   There’s some gorgeous, emotional stuff here. [Tomi]
7.   The coherence and storytelling is rather great. [Puppies]
8.   The emotional narrative here is quite captivating. [Shadow]
9.   There’s an enjoyable, intense groove to most of this. [Train]
