Should the max number of artists in the EP round be increased from 4 to 5?

Yes that would be much better and Cyril is very attractive.

Through the Soil (ii. Damned, iii. Requiem), Her Epitaph (iv. The Return), Relations in the Unseen, Out of Chase?, Shipwreck, Everlasting Ward?, Prey of Tempter?

I'm just tryna finish this mug
These are all close enough.

I also noticed that Ls weren't showing up correctly, so they are now.

OK, returning from work to guess either 2 or 13.
Nope.

I'll put you all out of your misery. :lol

Round 5 first impressions

1.   :hat  [Tomi – Stoned Jesus]
2.   Great hooks and energy. [romdrums – The Intersphere]
3.   Delicate and quite beautiful. [Katt – Frédéric Chopin]
4.   A lot of mood and a lot of groove. [Sacul – Saltillo]
5.   Warm, emotive, really rather good. [Train – A.A. Williams]
6.   Poppy, quirky, a lot of fun all round. [Nekov – Bend Sinister]
7.   Nice style but the hooks are lacking. [Lethean – Almah]
8.   I… don’t really know what to make of this. [Buddy – Dir En Grey]
9.   I have absolutely no idea what is going on. [Puppies – Estradasphere]
10.   Madder than I expected, and all the better for it. [Indi – Gino Vannelli]
11.   You win the prize for most accurate description ever. [wolfking – Norther]
12.   Do I dare suggest that this sounds solid but unremarkable? [Luoto – Noumena]
13.   Each track starts only ok but gets more interesting as it goes. [LordCost – Cave In]
14.   Vocals aren’t the strongest but otherwise an unexpected joy. [Cyril – Daniel Olsén, Jonathan Eng & Linnea Olsson]
15.   Really cool music, possibly let down slightly by the production. [Elite – Messa]
16.   A solid enough example of a genre that I’m extremely familiar with. [lonestar – Deadly Circus Fire]
17.   Another solid example of the genre that I’m extremely familiar with. [Evermind – Voices from the Fuselage]
18.   A cracking example of the genre that, again, I’m really very familiar with. [Jingle – M.I.GOD.]
19.   An excellent example of a genre that doesn’t feature much in my collection. [TAC – Netherbird]
20.   Slightly cheesy in the vocal department but that doesn’t stop it being a lot of fun. [king – Freaky Jelly]
21.   This could have been risky, but instead it’s wonderfully unique and I love it already. [Shadow – Cloud Cult]
22.   Great combination of punchy and catchy – liking it a lot and more than I thought I might. [Stadler – The Panic Channel]

I'll take "Thoughts as TAC plans sexytime" for $400, Alex.

Also, quite pleased my batch is the "cracking" example of prog-metal.

That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

That's because you only listen to prog metal! And fucking Winger.  :lol :lol
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

I took that to mean, "Yeah this is good, but I already have plenty fucking prog metal as it is!"  :lol
That doesn't necessarily mean anything though. Of course sometimes it can mean I feel like "I've heard this all before", and it probably affects my excitement a bit around the margins. But unless it's particularly generic (in terms of what I have heard before), then if it's good it's good.

But that's what the song is called now.
