Ahhhh been listening to Tool the whole day. What a nice welcome to finally hear them together with all the other music instead of a special music application just for that

So what songs are the most important one that can finally join the other playlists in Spotify / iTunes / Tidal (not you) / streaming service? For me it's The Pot, Pushit, Ænema and Wings For Marie Pt2. Many others that I like ofc but those are so nice to finally have on the fly!

On Spotify, I've been reliving my Tool fandom today. All of their music is great, to me, but Lateralus is head and shoulders above the rest. I'll be fascinated to see if the new album even comes close to approaching the rest of their catalog.

That's not even an option for me in my mind right now. I'll say this much: it's really cool to have their albums on streaming platforms, I never thought this day would come. Then again I also never thought the album would come this quickly (lol); I really thought they'd drag it out for another half year to a year.

Yeah, I'll be surprised if I can sit through the album entirely. But I think that's the safest mindset to have, because hype kills almost everything. And if I'm pleasantly surprised, then all the better. I forgot to mention that I've been pretty damn bored with the live bits from the new album so far as well though so...

Lowering my expectations to the bare minimum did wonderfully for me with last year's A Perfect Circle record (loved that album), so I'll be doing the same with this.

Funny how they release their discography on streaming services, yet no Salival. I wonder how many fans were upset when they found out they won't be able to hear those songs in better than youtube quality.

Im excited for tomorrow, although my hopes aren't high, im still expecting it to be a usual Tool album.

Listened to Lateralus for the first today today in years. A lot somber and quieter than I remembered, but still amazing. I want to try and arrange it as per 'The Holy Gift' sequence and see how that flows.
