I listened to the live recordings and I have to say I am really positively surprised. It is hard to live up to expectations after such a delay, but I N V I N C I B L E is actually an incredible song, great rhytms and buildup

I'm sure there's a Tool fan somewhere that has used advanced trigonometric formulae, as well as the release dates for Hungary and/or the Slovakia (since the artwork, when viewed under black light after soaking in bull sperm for four hours, shows the rough outline of that part of what was formerly Prussia), to ascertain that it is, in fact, 10,000 days from... uh, something.

And of course, Tool meant all of it. They had this planned for easily 6,490 days at least.

EDIT: I'm poking fun in a light-hearted way. I like that kind of stuff, but it's fun to watch fans take it to new levels.

My daughter is leaving for college this fall (four weeks, to be exact). The new Tool album is currently still on the list of potential graduation presensts when she finally graduates in 2023.

I am not a huge Tool fan but like their stuff and feels it's nice with a new album coming. However my feeling is that any time I see Maynard now it's just some trolling of fans or some other group of people and it feels like the band is that now, a big trolling service. Tool was a mysterious artsy band that just become a troll factory. Personally I don't get if it's that funny either $:-\$

They’ve always trolled fans. They literally wrote a song where the chorus tells fans to “shut up and buy our new record”. That’s top level trolling.

if you look here, (https://www.instagram.com/toolmusic/) then you'll see that they have been posting all the cover art chronologically. By that logic, we may see the new album art on Friday. And seeing as Fridays are release days (generally speaking of course) I wouldn't be surprised if a new single may be up by then too.
