Personally speaking, it's sad to see LAK go, as I am fond of that song (which, being a drummer, explains a lot because it's got some great Neil moments, especially at the end). We are now halfway through the album!

Also, to continue the discussion from last round, without looking it up, was Force Ten the first album opener to not be a single for the album in a long while? As far as I know, every opening track from PEW onwards was a single, or at least treated as such. Weird that it never took off the way other songs in its album position previously did.

One of the reasons I always thought it was a single was because my local rock station played it first as an advance track when the album was still two weeks away.    ???

Force Ten was a promotional single. I'd imagine it was given to radio stations to promote the album, but not available for people to purchase.

I'm also hoping it ranks first for this album survivor, but only time will tell.

That was my recollection as well.

Aaaahhh....that explains it.
