Mastering software for Windows?
« on: March 24, 2020, 05:55:19 PM »
I'm looking for recommendations for Windows mastering software. Basically I just want to EQ music (like from vinyl) and boost volume without clipping. I used to have the Waves R-Channel plugin that did both at the same time and it was just what I needed. Looking for something similar.  I don't have a DAW, hopefully looking for stand-alone software.

Wavelab (made by Steinberg, who also make Cubase btw) is software especially for mastering and you can use your Waves plugins with it as well.

Audacity is free and really useful.
