So here's what I said after Alex's first roulette.

Alex, you have set the bar on how roulettes should be run. You were entertaining, committed, and this thread never got boring. Every future roulette host take heed. I always say that when you run a roulette, it's YOUR party. YOU are the host and it's YOUR duty to maintain its pace. So outstanding job.

Again, this thread did not disappoint. Love the theme, and I try to run my roulettes the same way. You basically invite people in, and it becomes a music sharing party. I have stated in my roulettes that I don't do it to find new music. I can find new music. I do it to get to know people and to give us a place to gather daily to shoot the shit.

Everything I said then, still applies.

So well done again, brother.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Congrats, Chef lonestar!! TAC, congrats to you as well for a great run and a near victory.

Thanks to all the rest of you for putting up with this roulette noob. I stand in awe of the familiarity you all have with great and obscure music. I will take time to learn and purchase quite a bit of these bands/albums...especially if it from King or Evermind's collection.

Thanks again Alex. I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. It's one thing to have comedic and writing gifts, it's an entirely different thing to have them in two (maybe more) languages. Your command of English, modern western culture, and all things U.S. just astounds and impresses me. For bringing all of that to this roulette you created the gold standard that I don't see ever being beaten and elevates Indiscipline into the pantheon of DTF contributors reserved for the likes of LeeHarveyKennedy, IMO.

I'll actually miss this thread.

Y’all are sweet. It’s not going to happen, and even if it did. It would need to take place in the winter months when I’m not so busy. Sorry, guys.

Hey I think it's pretty impressive that I'm keeping rounds to a week each with the amount of music I'm getting! :P

Also on a related note, I have two different ideas for more fun approaches to roulettes that I might use in future.  - more for entertainment than anything else - which would be more quickfire.

Yeah, I discover so much new music now on a weekly basis that there's no need to run a roulette unless/until I tap out of that. My #1 goal in sending in roulettes now is just to give a taste of what I like and who I am, as well as introducing the host to stuff they probably wouldn't listen to otherwise, since I have zero grasp on what people here like in prog music  :lol

All that to say, someone, please run a backyard wrestling roulette so I can piledrive Cyril's ass east of the wall :neverusethis:
