This may have been covered already, but someone could send something that Alex hates more than anything else he's ever heard, but survive because nobody targeted him.

Hey Indi, that's 2/5 of that starting lineup I sent you!   :lol

Alright, so I listened to all songs once more and unless Alex dislikes Nick Cave for some reason, my prediction for this round is:

Nick Cave > Monica Heldal = Triosphere > Katatonia > East of the Wall

Actually think Triosphere may do just alright, forgot how good that particular song is.

edit: Okay shit, as I said before, Katatonia might be higher than that, Alex might dig the 80s influence.

I think it's likely that Cyril targets either Trainy or me, Trainy targets Cyril, Katt targets Trainy, no clue about Chris.

Yeah I don't know, I think this Katatonia song has a way better shot than most of their songs, which is why I sent it. Also honestly maybe a hot take but it's one of my favourites on the new album if not my favourite (after Lacquer obviously)

I honestly would've just straight up sent Lacquer. Alex may have an affinity towards straight-forward 80s-styled guitar riffs but I think the emotional side of Lacquer might've done better. But I see why you would pick this one, hopefully it works against whoever you targeted!

On corner one: the Cool Undertaker, his urn full of ashes from a female vocalist sporting balls bigger than 80% of her male peers.

On corner two: Ricky The Dracul Steamboat, his kimono sewn in silk coloured in full of regret viril tones

On corner three: Jake the Snake-on-the-Train Roberts, his pet reptile kept in a sack closely watched by Lethean.

On corner four: Dusty The American Beard Rhodes, king of all promos, waving at a cute young lady sitting in the stands

At center ring – mainly because it's focking square, for the geometry-challenged – the masked wrestler with 1000 names and 6 roaming owls

While no one seems to even notice the mysterious contendant, Undertaker and The Snake go at each other's throats as if a long time feud is brewing. Jake tries a Better Than Lacquer btw DDT on the deadman, but he's met with a lethal Glorious Vocals Tombstone. Jake's body is lying on the ground, ready to be carried and tossed outside the ring.

On the other side of the ring, Dusty grabs Steamboat and performs a Thin Timbre Weaver Lock; the Dracul succeeds in resisting the hold – while this event's promoter falls asleep – and, while The American Beard is suddenly distracted by six furious night raptors, he goes for an Incredible Pathos Dropkick sending his adversary over the third rope. A grateful wink towards the silent masked wrestler is met with a sardonic emoticon.

Ricky is scanning the mat searching for the next challenge, and he spots the Undertaker throwing Roberts off the ring. Way quicker than his submission habits, Steamboat unleashes a Song of The Round versus Second Best Song of the Round Jumping Clothesline at the deadman, who falls along his victims. Only one Dracul, one masked man, and six owls are left in the ring, waiting for the next buzzer.

Challenges:

Chris and Train targeted each other
Katt targeted Sacul
Cyril targeted Katt
Sacul targeted Chris

Eliminated:

Chris. Bad luck, man. You've been targeted by the only song I liked more than yours. I thank you for the enjoyable participation, and I'm extremely happy to have met a cool dude like you.

Train. Crap, when not tormenting me with satan music, you've sent me among the best stuff I've heard in this roulette so far. Thank you for playing and take care.

Katt. I know, I have no soul, but that ballad didn't do very much for me. I will never stop to thank you for your enthusiastic promos from day one, setting the mood for everyone. Have a bit of focking rest!

Survivors:

Sacul
Cyril

Round Songs Ranking:

Sacul: Nick Cave – Waiting for You
Chris: Triosphere – The Heart's Dominion
Cyril: East of the Wall – Running Tab of Sweetness / Horseback Riding in a Bicycle World
Katt: Monica Heldal – Follow You Anywhere
Train: Katatonia – Behind the Blood

The ring is ready for the 82.5 Club

Big yes for Sacul winning this first round, good job with this Nick Cave song. I absolutely love this album. Shame about Triosphere and kinda shows how far off I was.

Curiously how no one targeted Cyril, you guys need to fix that ASAP, I feel threatened by this djent coming up my way.

So the death count is:

Sacul: 1
Cyril: 1
Chris: 1
Katt: 0
Train: 0

Also Cyril cheekily joining the rumble despite not actually playing in the rest of the roulette and then not one person targeting him, guaranteeing he progresses to the next round, is hilarious.

Listened to that Nick Cave song, or at least as much as my ears could handle, which was maybe 20 seconds.

This is worse than Taker getting eliminated by Maven in 2002.

Chris. Bad luck, man. You've been targeted by the only song I liked more than yours. I thank you for the enjoyable participation, and I'm extremely happy to have met a cool dude like you.

Thank you for running this, it was great fun being exposed to new music and bantering about wrestling sports entertainment.
