It's still on?  They are hosting it at their own performance center or something in front of no crowd?  Going to be utterly the most depressing Wrestlemania ever if that's the case.

I think they did away with PPV for a long while ago.  They have their own subscription streaming service along with whatever TV deal they have now.

I passed by Raw while channel surfing a couple times over the past month, and it looks so lame to be performing in an empty studio - especially cutting promos.

Yessir, two pre-taped shows; gonna watch part 1 on the network tonight.

It must have been terribly difficult to perform without audience.

Lame from a business standpoint. As an entertainment outlet it's inherently lame by nature.

From what I've read, day 1 was pretty solid, with some great matches. Lowered, unsure expectations of course, but if their goal was to provide a enjoyable escape, it sounds like it was a success. And that Taker/Styles match, while not really a match, was A+ entertainment.

I sincerely hope it's still not PPV, that'd be fucking lame.

Haven't PPVs been a solid revenue stream for wrestling for decades? And why is it lame by nature?

Just a personal perspective on it. It's entertainment, that's for sure, but it's cheap entertainment.

As to PPVs, I was more saying that still going through with a PPV at this point in history, instead of letting the masses watch it for free, would be a lame business move from my viewpoint. It wouldn't surprise me that the McMahons would still do it, I just think it'd be a shitty PR move.

I guess now will be the best time to post this.  Here's a Metallica tweet where old man Undertaker as the American Bad Ass is driving in the woods at night on his motorcycle with Metallica's Now That We're Dead playing as the theme song.  I got to say, mid-50s Undertaker still looks pretty darn intimidating, especially coming out to a song Metallica wrote in their 50s.

I think it was Jericho and Heyman, but someone was talking about Vince's greatest creation. In terms of a tangible thing, it has to be Wrestlemania, but hey said it's probably The Undertaker. Dude debuted in the WWF 30 years ago and while part-time, still relevant. That intro was boss! How Mark has been able to remain a top star for so long is a testament to his commitment and brilliance.

Probably tomorrow. I still need one confirmation from an offline player.

... who eventually came online.

Here's The TagMan, and since everything is split in two for this round, I'm giving you only the acts to buy letters for; the song titles you must desume from their relationship with Questions.
