Throwing out some of my fave's from the 80s, before the WWF became a virtual monopoly, I loved the late days of the NWA

Von Erich's - always loved Kerry... amazing to think he did a good chunk of his career on one foot.

I get some of those, but for me, the Fabulous Freebirds, Abdullah The Butcher, and the Von Erichs were all staples on GCW. Especially the Freebirds. They were big for a while (I almost went with Michael Hayes here.)
