Welcome to the knockout stage of The IQ Cup! We begin with the Round of 32. Here are the drawn matchups. As previously explained, the 8 group winners have been kept separate in this round.

Harvest of Souls vs Ten Million Demons
Ocean vs Stronger Than Friction
The Seventh House vs Awake and Nervous
For Another Lifetime vs If Anything
The Province vs The Wrong Side of Weird
Frequency vs Widow's Peak
Shallow Bay vs The Narrow Margin
The Darkest Hour vs The Road of Bones
Without Walls vs Further Away
Guiding Light vs The Magic Roundabout
Stay Down vs Common Ground
Human Nature vs The Great Spirit Way
Ryker Skies vs From the Outside In
Sacred Sound vs Fallout
Until the End vs Closer
Fire and Security vs The Last Human Gateway

Voting is open for 48 hours. If any matches are tied after that, there will be a 24-hour tiebreaker vote. If they remain tied, the song that finished higher in their group will progress, followed by group stage points, vote differential, votes for, and if we're *still* tied, I cast a deciding vote. As usual, please check your ballot carefully before submitting your votes.

Lots of tough matchups here.  Darkest Hour v. The Road of Bones and Without Walls v Further Away were particularly tough!

Oh man, that's a lot to chew on, good thing it's two days instead of one. I'll try to vote on my lunch break tomorrow, got to relisten to a few of these before I vote!

I can already tell some of these will be extremely difficult, man does this band have loads of fantastic songs

Fire and Security is my new Fall and Rise. Looks like it'll be here for this round only though :P

I think Until the End v. Closer was the only real tough one for me.

Kinda surprised seeing Darkest Hour getting beat by The Road of Bones like it is.  Would have figured that one would be closer.

I thought that was odd too.   And made even more odd by the fact that Further Away is beating Without Walls, another Ever vs ROB matchup that I thought would be a lot closer.
