Agreed. The three album trajectory from Saturday Night Wrist to Koi No Yokan is so good. Gore was such a let down though.

The only feels I don't really like in metal are that emo Katatonia-type "life is pain, oh, i am without feeling" stuff most of the time although Katatonia has their moments

Yeah, if it weren't for their self titled album they would have had one of the best 5 album runs of all time.
