While I've been waiting, I thought I would give some of the albums a listen that songs were sent from.



This album suffers from the same problem as that Esben and the Witch album does. Outside of one song (Taken by Storm), nothing else ever comes as close to the same highs. There are some other good moments throughout the album, but nothing to make it better than just OK at best. I'll circle back around to this in the future and see if it grows on me.

[Train of Naught]

Definitely was a pretty slow grower for me. The kind where you go from loving 1 song to loving 3 to loving 5 etc. etc.
It sucks that they can’t just make all songs as amazing as Taken By Storm but heh. I think at the very least Wide-Eyed and the title track are worthy of some praise as well

On a different note, I’m actually pretty surprised how much stuff I have left to send, I thought first that the rush themes were going to restrict me but they’re really easy to deal with thus far.

I know you didn't send a song from this album, but what you sent was from a split EP and I wanted something a little more substantial. This doesn't disappoint. This is quite enjoyable all the way through with a lot of variety and styles used throughout. I'll be coming back to this often.
