Guess it wasn't just a flesh wound.

RIP to this brilliant filmmaker.

As fond as I am of the man, this is probably for the best.

Trying to think of my favorite character of his and it's a hard thing to do. His were generally so understated. Either he was a pepperpot or a straight man (or woman). When he was directing Life of Brian he spent the entire day working in Tunisia wearing nothing but two fake beards--one high and one low. He was oblivious to the fact that he spent the entire afternoon directing a movie buck naked.

Argument, the presentation of reasonable views, never makes headway against conviction, and conviction takes no part in argument because it knows.

Brain's mother, is my fave.

Bye, Terry. It was a blast.

The mother of Brian was definitely his best character. I'd like to think he isn't dead, and simply pining for the fjords

I watched a very recent interview with Michael Palin where he talks about his close friendship with Terry over the years. It was very moving.

Just watched his final film Absolutely Anything on Prime.

This is another one of those movies that had absolutely awful reviews (18% on RT) and almost everyone said it was unfunny and dreadful.   Maybe it was just enough to lower my expectations, but I found it quite enjoyable.   I mean, I'm not racing out to own it and sing its praises from the rooftops, but I laughed and didn't feel like I wasted an hour and half.

Simon Pegg and Kate Beckinsale with the voices of all 5 Python's (as aliens) and Robin Williams in his final role as the voice of Simon Pegg's dog.
