Rush
Finding My Way
Need Some Love
Take A Friend
Here Again
In The Mood
What You're Doing
Before And After
Working Man

Here we are, where it all began, the only album with original drummer John Rutsey. It's a bit of Zeppelin-esque sounding, but there are some great riffs and tunes on here!

I have a bit of a love affair with the first 3 albums.

I was 12 years old, and I had just discovered Moving Pictures.   But I didn't have enough money of my own to by any of their newer material.    But the first 3 albums were commonly found in the "discount bin" at the record store.   So I picked them up for dirt cheap.   And being a very young an exuberant fan, I ate them up like candy.  So there's not a single note that I didn't listen to on constant repeat for the next 4-6 years of my life.

That being said, I'm a bit done with In the Mood.   Although, seeing a live video of them performing it with Mr. Big on the Presto Tour...and seeing how much fun they were all having...really made me fall in love with it again.

Still, something has to go.   In the Mood it is.

I'm seriously amazed with how long In The Mood lasted in their live set. Like every single show from 1974-1990. And then never again after that. I wish they had the same sort of adventurous vibe back then that they adopted in their latter years. Could you imagine the awesome setlists if they did Evening With tours back in the 80's?
