Still need to revisit some of these, good thing it's 48 hours! I know I'll vote for six Road of Bones tracks, just need to pick the other two.

This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

Eh, too bad I had the only vote for Winterfall, probably one of the most sublime IQ songs. Also put a few of the RoB tracks, Intelligence Quotient, and the Dark Christmas Suite.

I only know Wintertell, and Googling "IQ Winterfall" yields nothing, am I missing something here?

I went with the 6 ROB tracks plus Winterfall and Just Changing Hands. I briefly thought about that track with the French name, but I honestly just don’t like it as well as the others.

I do own the original demo cassette (well...the original tape was included as MP3 files on the Tales rerelease. I honestly didn’t care for them much at all. But I’ve never heard the remakes that they did for that rerelease they did. Seven Stories Out of ‘89? I think it was called? I’ve seen talk of it, but never heard any of it. Maybe those versions are better.

Thanks to everyone who's voted so far! There already seems to be a growing consensus around the six Road of Bones Disc 2 tracks. There's still plenty of time left, but already I'm considering saying that they would all go into the main draw, then eliminating all the songs with 0-1 votes and having a second round with the remaining songs to determine the final two qualifiers. Although if two other songs get up to the 5-7-vote level, we might not even need that. But now that there have been several voters here, I can start to make plans going forward.

I'm guessing it's a typo and is supposed to be Wintertell...I don't know of a Winterfall in their song catalog. I didn't catch it earlier cause it was hella early. The lyrics to Wintertell are some of Nichol's best though...

I think that was my fault.    I suggested it when I saw that it had been overlooked....but I'm fairly new to IQ and didn't have the disc in front of me, so I was going off of memory.

So my sincere apologies if I steered RoeDent to the wrong title.

Fixed. I'm going to assume people who voted for it knew what song they were voting for. Thanks for the correction.  :tup

I am partial for some of the oldies, so I voted for
IQ
It all stops here
Fascination
Chateau noir
Just changing hands
And then Constellations, knucklehead and Hatdcore.
The Christmas songs are not real IQ songs for me ...
