Fun fact though (and you can look this up)...the cover of Loverboy’s “Get Lucky” does have a male hand on it (no one can seem to remember if it’s Reno’s hand or not) but that ass is a female model.

So if they do a Collins style reissue, it would depend on how well that model stayed in shape.

Obviously Working for the Weekend is awesome, but you can't deny the awesomeness of Loving Every Minute of It, Turn Me Loose, or When It's Over.  If you don't know those tunes, check them out and crank them.

I can maybe see not digging all the Loverboy tracks.

But there is one Canadian song that is one of my all time favorite songs overall and not even TAC can deny the awesomeness of it. It's real and spectacular.  I can play it over and over again without ever getting tired of it.

I remember that song being all over the place the first 6-12 months I had MTV, and then I never really heard much of anything by or about that band after that.

Apparently, there is a "Bottom by T.K." credit in the liner notes, and this article ( https://ultimateclassicrock.com/loverboy-get-lucky-cover/ ) says T.K. was a then 13yo girl named Tymara Kennedy, who was the photographer's daughter.  The article goes on to say that she was killed in a car accident ten years later.

Where do you even START with that story?   I guess you don't, other than RIP.  But I feel just as queasy realizing I've been looking at a 13-year-old's ass all these years as I used to feel knowing I was looking at Mike Reno's ass.  :)

I got to see April Wine live at a casino in my small home town in Washington State. They were amazing!  I can't believe I forgot to mention them earlier in this thread.

for me, Bend Sinister and Pyramid Theorem are where it's at. I've seen Bend 9 times, including 3 straight nights in 3 different cities afew years back. Lead man Dan is probably my favorite song qriter as far as putting a vocal melody to chord progression, riff, pr melody. And Pyramid Theorem are my 2017 AlbumOfTheYear, so of course i gotta share some love.
The band i like but haven't seen mentioned is Sparky. Sorry Into Eternity, but Sparky's Humanination is the neatest metal album to ever come out of our province. Try track 2 Falcon if you want a fun Tool-esque fix.

my personal fav's:

Max Webster - A Million Vacations (love that entire album to death)

Kim Mitchell - I Am A Wild Party, We Are In Rockland Wonderland

Triumph - Never Surrender, Thunder Seven, Allied Forces (the masterpiece)

Prism - Spaceship Superstar

Saga - 1st 6 albums all are masterpieces

Mystery - The World Is A Game (Pride: the guitar solo  :metal so melodic)

Transcend - The Mind (double concept album released in 2011, comparable to DT, they are from Montreal)

Randy Bachman (BTO) - still an amazing guitarist in any style

and of course Pyramid Theorem

I'm amazed (and appalled) that nobody has mentioned Pat Travers yet. Snorting Whisky was still being played on Canadian radio when I visited in 2002. Pat has made some fine hard/blues rock albums in his time and has been mentioned as one of Alex Lifeson's favourite guitarsts.
I know perfect's not for real... I thought we might get closer
