Dracula Netflix series

(1/2) > >>

Tick:
So I just watch the first of 3 episodes of Dracula on Netflix and I really liked it a lot. I feel like they paid homage to Bella Lugosi, Christopher Lee, and Gary Oldman so far.
What's funny is, I don't like the whole vampire genre at all but I love the Dracula story! I always have. This version has some different twists and it also has elements of the new AMC show NOS4A2.
Let me know what you guys think if you've seen it?

MirrorMask:
It's on my to do (well, to watch) list. Sooner or later I'll go for it!

Grappler:
The first two episodes were great, and I liked the differences in this story compared to the traditional Bram Stoker story.  The third episode just lost me, bringing him into the present, with some relative of the other primary character (the nun).

I thought that was insanely hokey.  The nun's character was fantastic though and we were deprived of more of her by the third episode.

hefdaddy42:
It's on my list.

Kwyjibo:
First two episodes were great, although the first was better than the second. The third was not so great, some good ideas in there but not up to par with the first two. And the ending was a little bit stupid imo.
