This was super difficult because I love Veil, but Crystallized is one of their three best songs (along with Celestial Elixir and Visions).

And I honestly didn't say this to be belligerent or to be that guy. I sincerely think both of these track are in the bottom third of Haken's entire discography. I have no idea really which one I dislike more. I might give the 'good' edge to Crystallised for its chorus and the happy section, but all the nonsensical wankery really kills whatever vibe the song was supposed to have.

Sorry.

I mostly voted for Veil because the first three or four minutes are great but after the song gets past the first chorus it's just alright.

Crystallized, on the other hand, I can't stand at all.

Which is a shame because one time I saw them live (and travelled for it), they played both Crystallized and Veil :lol

Voted for Veil.

Crystallized is a masterpiece, but Veil is even greater in my opinion. Very consistent track that makes a lot out of few ideas by varying them cleverly.

Plus: Ray Hearne. Ray Hearne!
