So they managed it... the "big 4" finished the regular season unchallenged! I think out of the four Blackened it's a little bit of a surprise, I could totally see Creeping Death, One and of course Master of Puppets, prime candidate for final victory, to go undefeated, but Blackened? I thought they'd have a hard time one chance or two.

Orion is the best instrumental, One is the best "ballad that goes crazy at the end", and while the top is compltely dominated by Ride / Master / Justice song, surprisingly the best song not from those three albums is Spit out the Bone, from the latest album!

For all the overplayed syndrome it suffers from, Enter Sandman after all is the second best song not from the '80s at #16, and one of the most panned albums, ReLoad, surprisingly sneaked The Unforgiven II at #17 making it the best of the Unforgivens! the original one is in the #28-32 group, and the third one from Death Magnetic is the first of the eliminated ones at #67-68.

RIP Motorbreath and Metal Militia, they deserved better IMO

Oh, and nobody will be surprised to see the total failure of the complete St. Anger album, whose songs all linger at the bottom, with The Unnamed Feeling being the "best" with 5 victories (Frantic and St. Anger managed to get 4).

Who would have guessed that the final 8 would have been songs from Ride / Master / Justice? 

The irony for Ride, which was heavily featured in the semifinals, is that it managed to get only one song forward out of three, since one match was a derby and one was meant to lose anyway, and the other one - Bells vs Heroes - turned into a defeat for the Ride song. So now it's up to Creeping Death only to face the immense power of Master of Puppets the album, with Blackened and One ready to be the outsiders.
