I first heard the term " Doom Metal " in 1991. I saw a Doom Metal band and they played 3 chords all night. Not 3 chord songs I mean 3 chords that lasted all night night.

I'm listening to this right now because it's been on my list for a couple weeks. I am really enjoying this. It's traditional progressive rock from the old days but with a nice modern production and some wonderful playing and songwriting. Basically feels like something out of the 70s yet also modern. Never heard of this band before but I guess they've been around for 50 freaking years. I am impressed. One of the better albums of 2020 so far, imo. I urge fans of prog rock to check this out.

I'm hardly an expert, but if you enjoy their new record, definitely give some of their classic stuff a go. "Recycled" and "Remember the Future" perhaps.
