Thanks, but It's not very elaborate, it's mostly sad poems for each song .

It's a small program for automating the titles generation and the guessing that I've been rewriting endlessly, and its last iteration is as a browser-based game because I can't be arsed to make a desktop client .

Making a browser-based client is infinitely more elegant than what I did, which was just set up a script and scene in Unity (a pretty heavyweight game engine) that generated a text output, and just pop in there and copy+paste whenever I needed to update my hangman.

It's technically both a client and a server... may have been easier to just make it a client . Hell yeah overengineering ftw! :

Y'all should just use Ariich's spreadsheet for hangman. It's literally the easiest and quickest way to do hangman.

When it's a simple artist and album or song, then yeah I find it super easy to use. It's not so great when you want to play around with different things, e.g. just artist names, although of course it's editable.

The following is based on a real relationship I had, which ended a few months ago, and the aftermath, how I've been struggling with myself lately. And some lyrics are mixed with my own words.

We spent a little more than 3 years together, you were my first girlfriend, I was your first boyfriend. We connected through music, our love for technology and many interests in common. There was a vibrant connection and understanding I hadn't felt in years with anybody else. Our first year was lovely, silly, and despite the physical distance, I felt we were very close all the time. Our second year was great as well, although near its end, some things started to rupture.

You slowly became more and more cynical, less tolerant of what I liked and thought, constantly policing me and getting angry whenever I said I wanted to try something you hated, accusing me of becoming someone else. Yet that's exactly what happened to you. Rough times you were in, and we both were very immature. We hurt each other deeply. I'm sorry.

Our last year was me constantly watching my back, measuring my words, avoid talking a lot of things that triggered you. Wished I had been firm with my own boundaries since the beginning, as you constantly trespassed them, and I was lost on what to do. Hard was seeing you wither, harder was you taking it out on me.

I don't want to hate you. I've always believed in you, I know one day you'll leave behind that awful place you're in, the nasty people that surround you. Just... don't do this to anybody else again, ok?

Side note: this album is actually about a relationship that slowly dissolved and I can relate a lot to its agony, and the unintelligible vocals just add to that absolute raw, cathartic sensation that's hard to explain with words. The ending of this song in particular hits very hard with me, as that's exactly how I felt. I know you'll hate this track and will probably skip it on the first listen, but it's just vital to me, sorry. The rest is a lot more digestible.

Progress Report:

I have 7 albums effectively scored so far, and I will finish the 8th (out of 12 received) tonight.

I am waiting for Rom's Concept before listening to his, and Elite is not sure if he will be able to put something together (no worries, brother).

I expect to be scored by the end of day on Tuesday, with final writeup/formatting done on Wed and Thurs. Results Friday afternoon.

But seriously there are 3 songs with harsh vocals. The SIG:AR:TYR song, the Darkest Hour song, and the Vektor song. And the Vektor song is really more of a heavier Slayer style vocally.
