No, they were on a TV show (like American Idol) as solo artists and Simon Cowell said “I’ll give you a deal as a group”.   They did four, maybe five albums and took a hiatus.   Harry styles is one of them.   I saw him headline MSG and he delivered.   Make fun but his record is the real deal.
