The first 7 EPs have all ABSOLUTELY NAILED THE THEMES. They are all extremely well thought out and I am both honored and impressed.

I believe I have two committed Theme Bonuses with a third pending, depending on the rest.

I can probably trim a bit, but as it sits now it's at 84 minutes. There is a 6+ minute instrumental that could technically be cut without compromising the story, but it's sort of like an overture to the album and a badass song to boot.....

I was thinking the same thing. I've got my story, and I'm was looking at 16 or 20 songs to tell it - 13 songs are locked in (for 74 minutes), and I've got 30 or so to chose from to fit the final 3, or final 7 songs.

Maybe I'll just make an optional "extended" version.

Question... is it plausible to use a banned artist for one song that fits perfectly to tell the story? You've been kinda loose about allowing bands/songs you know, so I didn't know if that would extend to the banned list for the concept round.

I've let things slide that I'm familiar with after they've been submitted.

Now I will say that I am allowing one person to send me an artist on my iPod list, as I don't own all of a certain band's albums, and even the albums I have, I've listened to probably once. So I allowed something off an album I don't own.

Chad, you can PM (not text) me the particulars. Generally I would say no though. I'm confident you have enough stuff to make it work.

Copy that. And you're right, I'm virtually certain I know how to build my story with non-banned artists. I just didn't know if it would be copasetic to substitute a single C+ song with an A-list song from a banned band - but a cut that you may not know.

I was telling Ariich in my PM that this theme has really brought out everyone's creativity. I'm very impressed. I also feel like musically, this round (which I'm only halfway through) has been the best so far.

It's funny, but I hear that song almost daily on our store's intercom. It has really aged great. It's really atmospheric, the way Nick Rhodes plays at the beginning.
