I'm getting these out because there's nothing worse than waiting for bad news. But I also want you guys to get a head start on the next couple of rounds.
I feel like the writeups for each EP will be pretty much identical.
I am definitely a hard rock guy, but I think I'm too old for 90's/00's style hard rock. I find a lot of it lacking in melody. I don't like drop tuning. And while I have expanded my horizons for some harsh vocals, these are the kind of vocals that I can not get past.
In parts of your EP's the music was really good, but I just couldn't get through to it.
You guys don't know me as well as some of the others here, and I totally appreciate you guys sharing your tastes with me. It's all in good fun and brotherhood.

Chris Adler rules. Musically Lamb Of God is pretty amazing. But they need a different singer.

Great drumming here too. These vocals hurt my ears.

5. Haken - Nil By Mouth 8.5

6. Pantera - Fucking Hostile 8.0
Not really a fan. I do appreciate the old school feel.

Not a bad song at all, but damn, those vocals suck.
2. Target-No Solace Arises 8.0
So I would be willing to check out something else from this album. Musically it has a lot of cool ideas. But damn, those vocals.
3. Darkane-Ostracized 8.0
Musically, I really liked this. The vocals blow, but they're not as grating for some reason.
4. Meshuggah-Our Rage Won't Die 7.5
Somehow, this song grew on me a bit. Musically, it's really cool. Mad bass going on. But the vocals, WTF??
5. The Dillinger Escape Plan-82588 6.0
Brutal, Dude. I need an escape plan.
6. Hacride-Ghosts Of The Modern World 6.5
I didn't know Sam Kinison had a band.
7. Gojira-Global Warming 8.5
Really cool song. I wish the rest of this EP was more like this. So thoughtful.
