Yes, it's a rubbish name for a band, but goddamn, this has me excited, and not much does these days. Like a twitchy Meshuggah with some Dillinger thrown in. Masses of energy.

Cool album. I've known about this band for a while but this is the first album of theirs I've checked out. I listened to Dissect Yourself when it first came out and it was one of the most bonkers things I've ever heard, so that was enough to get me interested in the full album.

As a whole it's still a bit too long even though it's under 50 minutes; it's very difficult to keep up the momentum for music this intense for long periods of time, and as a result it starts to get monotonous after a while. But basically every song has at least one cool part, and the production and guitar work are fantastic. Djenty guitars haven't sounded this fresh since like, 2010.

I've not found it too long in length but reckon it wood have even more impactful if they had dropped a track

I'm a fan of their album "Meta" from 2016. Have listened to this one once and need to check it out more.

Car Bomb are strange, I love everything they do but their albums will never top my AOTY rankings.. I just don't value the whole album as much as individual songs. There's one track that features Courtney Swain (singer of Bent Knee) "Xoxoy" which is super cool, and then Blackened Battery and Dissect Yourself (pewpewpew song) are my other favourites. Blackened Battery is a song of the year contender I'm pretty sure!
