What happened to Shadow's Fall?

I heard a Shadows Fall song today. I have totally forgotten about them. What happened to them? I thought they were pretty good and then they just sort of went away.

I know their lead guitarist is in Anthrax.

Jason Bittner is the drummer in Overkill now.  Matt Bachand is the bassist for Act of Defiance (Chris Broderick & Shawn Drover's band).  Jon Donais is the second guiarist in Anthrax.
