I find The Fountain ultra boring compared to most Pendulum songs, it just sounds like a very meh Steven Wilson song, hardly anything Pendulum about it

For me it’s Crush, Witchcraft and Watercolour, but almost every song on In Silico and half the songs on HYC beat everything on that album by far

So, no matter how hilariously badly this round goes, I will probably send you some bands/songs for EP auditioning this weekend, because you're getting it anyway even if I don't reach the final round. I've already got a rough idea of a sci-fi story for you and at least five songs picked with a decent flow and variety

I have a good EP planned out but I know I’ve got a snowball’s chance in hell of actually making it into that round with how inconsistent my performance has been.

Unless I somehow do really well this round, I’ll probably just send two songs from the EP for the last two rounds. And then maybe send Cyril the EP anyways.

for as much as I complained about last round, I think this round is even worse. it's entirely possible no song this round will get even a 4. i'm just not particularly thrilled by anything here, a lack of metal means a lot of these songs start to blend together for me - there are 3 ambient/downtempo pop tracks and then 3-4 songs my mind groups into the category of "upbeat rock", for example.

i guess i'll just repeat this statement from my "tastes" post
