130 / v1 / Obscure / Place Vendфme** / My Guardian Angel - a fairly run-of-the-mill power ballad, but it’s Kiske. Tim will appreciate.
129 / v1 / wolfking / Vanishing Point** / Closer Apart - vocally, Vanishing Point is just middle-of-the-road for me, but musically they slay. At least it’s not growls.
128 / v4 / TAC / The Silent Wedding / Shadows and Dust – checked out the album, but vocally it just wasn’t dynamic enough – a little too dull and lifeless. Excellent song though.
127 / v3 / wolfking / Almah / Trace of Trait – just listened to the album. Why didn’t I check this out earlier, or do a little research? I had no idea this was Edu on the mic (or totally forgot). A few gems in there, but not likely something that I'll routinely come back to.
126 / v3 / TAC / UFO / Profession of Violence – killer solo, of course.

Four of these could be summarized as follows – excellent tunes, vocals were very distinctive, but other than a couple of gems, the albums didn’t leave me with much to get overly excited about.

125 / v2 / kirksnosehair / 7 Months / Unspoken Words… vocally, it’s kinda like a sweet blend of Ted Leonard and Roy Khan
124 / v1 / Doc / Wuthering Heights / I Shall Not Yield… Nils has a very distinctive voice – I can see people either loving or hating it. Tim surely hates it. I think Katt loves it… but then again, he loves everything.
123 / v1 / jjrock / Crimson Glory** / Painted Skies… My first exposure to Midnight

122 / v4 / Lowdz / Night Mistress / Until The Day Will Dawn… helluva screamer.
121 / v3 / wolfking / Coldspell / Night Falls… I have no idea why a slow plodder like this appealed to me, but it did, and helped Kade win v3 (iirc, this was in his ‘finals’ group of songs).

Hey mofo, I love a lot of stuff, but not everything! I can think of quite a number of artists that make my ass itch, some that you love!

Nils has an AWESOME voice, but while Wuthering Heights has some songs I love, for the most part they're whatever to me, my recommended songs could fit on one hand. Their production on their records is atrocious, too. That song is not on my favorites unfortunately but it's not bad.

Unfortunately, not. His solostuff is there, as are some of his other projects (eg, Astral Doors)

Strange and Beautiful was a drastic change for Crimson Glory. I can see the Zeppelin vibe now that you mentioned it, but I could never really get into it. Chad just may really dig it though.
