I learned Rush's "Neurotica" on guitar, minus the solo. What a fun song to play!

That bridge to the solo is 🔥.

Out of all the Rush songs you could choose to learn, you chose Neurotica?!  :lol

Dude. You know some songs have great moments even if the sing is average.

I have been with my fucking organisation for 15 years as of last week.  Do you want to know what I get...........a $190 gift voucher and a fucking certificate and a stupid badge with 15 years on it!  That's it. I'm seeing how long it takes to actually get to me.

$190?   :lol

Why not just make it an even $200? Or did they deduct $10 for the badge?   :rollin

:lol I know right.  Like WTF?!  I've given up trying to work out what the fuck goes on here.  :rollin

Following on from this, I finally get my letter and badge and shit and on the letter it says 'email People and Culture Support to organise your $190 voucher.'

Alright, so I email them asking how I get it or where do I pick it up and I get a response, 'We are no longer providing giftcards but we are now directly debiting the funds into your chosen account.'  Like, WTF?!  Why write that on the official letter then?

Err.......okay then, can't you just chuck it in the same account you put my pay into?  "No, we can't do that, this is different to your pay, please provide your account number and BSB.'

 :lol

Hey Kris!  What's up man?  Gotta say, I wasn't much of a fan of either albums, but they had a tremendous cast (both musically, and vocally).

Say, I'm in Ottawa with some regularity (jingle.son is going to school there this year).  Maybe we can have that long over-due meetup?

Considering you remember my name - we probably should.
Why do I think yours is Brian.....I probably have that wrong.
My apologies for that. I turn 49 this year.

Beautiful day today, just put a pork shoulder on the smoker, cracked a morning beer open and watching some football in London. Shaping up to be a nice afternoon.

Yeah, I got the feeling today is going to be a nice relaxing one at home for me.  My gf had to go to DC so I got the house to myself and I plan on just lounging and gaming all day.

I played on the worship band at church today for the first time in 6 years. I get bad stage freight, but overcame it and was in the zone by the end, I feel really good to have overcome a lot of anxiety today.

Week 3 in my new bowling league and I just wrecked my handicap. This new ball has some movement my old one just never had and I kind of put it all together tonight.

163 / 207 / 182 - 552 series.

I've only bowled maybe 3 500 series in the last 13/14 or so years that I have been bowling. Never came close to a 550 series. Have maybe 5 200 games in that span.

We crushed the other team, but we also will pay for it when our new averages hit. Also my birthday so a nice night for me.
beul ni teh efac = Lube In The Face / That has to be wrong.  :lol / EDIT: Oh, it's Blue! I'm an idiot.
Pardon the interruption, but I just had to run in and celebrate the majesty of Lube in the Face as highest moment in roulette history

I once bowled a 246. I have no idea how that happened. I was usually good for at least 150, could hit the the upper 100s on a rare occasion. But the stars aligned something crazy that day.

That's awesome! I couldn't imagine the stage fright I'd have.

Probably the climax of the set...
