Oh I’ve been a doctor for about a year. That just means I’ve finished the degree. The licensing test is what will allow me to practice psychology without a supervisor.

Got a new guy who started at the shop yesterday. I can count on 2 hands all the guys who have worked here since we opened 15 years ago, so hopefully he sticks around. He's the youngest of all of us and completely green, but wants to get in the field, so... fingers crossed. It'll help reduce the workload on the rest of us even a little bit. This also means more time for me spent in the nice cold office so yeah I'm kinda happy  :lol

Also, at the Helloween Pumpkins United show in 2018 I got a massive Helloween flag with the Keeper art and Pumpkins United printed at the bottom. Just bought a couple other equally massive flags (4 ft x 4 ft) of Straight Out Of Hell and Better Than Raw. Gonna hang those up in my bedroom.  :metal

Yesterday I realized I have off from work on Friday for the July 4th holiday.  I totally forgot about that (just like I did memorial day) but also today, they said we can all log off at 2pm tomorrow as en extension of our summer fridays.  Then just had our team meeting and my boss was pretty much like "have a good long weekend" so it seems like I'm pretty much done for the week.  :yarr

Cheese burger, lettuce, tomato, cooked onions, jalapenos, and hot sauce with cajun fries is my go to at 5 guys.  I've never had a hot dog from there before.

I don't think I knew 5 Guys sold hot dogs. Actually, I cannot recall the last time I bought a hot dog at any sort of establishment that wasn't a ballpark, or street vendor at 2am.

lol their jalapenos are pretty hot so I usually have to take a couple off, but their hot sauce isn't very hot at all, just adds some flavor but it's weird cause I don't add either of those to my typical burgers I make or get anywhere else.

Costco?  I think that's the only place I've bought hot dogs outside of sporting events or the supermarket for my home.  I made italian hot dogs last week  :yarr

I completely forgot about Costco as I don't think about it as an eating establishment. But yes we go there periodically and I usually get the hot dog.

Otherwise we tend to grill or otherwise cook bratwurst or some other type of dog regularly enough that it doesn't occur to me to ever order one at a restaurant/fast food place.

The problem with hot dogs at Five Guys is that if you get more toppings than the basic ketchup/mustard, it's all just going to come off the bun and turn into a disaster.

Unless you do it the pro way and get your hot dog on a hamburger bun.

My dad had not has he cancer treatment in 3 months.  They wanted to give him a break.  The new scan results showed that nothing has spread and nothing have grown in the 3 months.  They are not treating him another 3 months so that's great news.
