All right, we're getting this over with quickly. Had a quick debate and here we go.

Congratulations...

Ruba
Manic Street Preachers - Ready For Drowning

I like the vibe. I dig the cool effects on the guitar later on, gives me a Pink Floyd vibe. It's a nice little rocker, but I'm not really drawn to it after listening to it a few times, although it makes me think of Porcupine Tree a little.

TAC
Art of Illusion - Thrown into the Fog

Sure likes to take its time getting started :lol Really cool instrumental. My favorite part is when the piano comes in later on. Up to that point it's just all right, from that point on it's awesome. Love that kind of piano spotlight and the way he plays. Really cool track.

Sacul
Floex & Tom Hodge - Prelude I

Just the right tempo, just the right amount of activity, the vibe here is sick. The back half is tremendous. I love how warm and vibrant this one is. It's engaging, which I appreciate.

Sacul!

Ruba, thanks for playing. Better luck next time, my friend. Tori Amos - Spark was my favorite tune you sent, thanks for showing me that, and I'll take your Depeche Mode recommendations to heart.

TAC, sorry brudda, you gotta go. Thanks for playing. That Narrow Gate song was sick and that Gary Moore song rules. Good luck next time!

Everyone else, send for round 4.  :corn

Now what to send? Extinction blues? Get 'em out by friday? Das Boot?  ;) which incidentally is a really cool moody electronic piece.

Sent some 80s band instead as I'm a child of the 80s?  :metal

I would very much like to, but atm I just don't have the time. The time I can spent listening to music is very limited, so every round would last probably a month. So including holidays would mean a year before it's finished. No-one would like to pay attention for that long.

I apologize for this but this roulette is over.

I just found out that my little sister died in a car crash last night. I can't remember the last thing I said to her. I can't even see straight.

I'm out... this one's over. Sorry guys. I'll listen to whatever was sent to me in time but... yeah

Just as a warning, I'd actually recommend NOT listening to the song I sent you - the lyrical content probably wouldn't sit too well with you after what happened.

Hey, so... update. First, jingle is sending me the concept album he apparently already worked out for this roulette, so I'm going to listen to it and post my thoughts, but no score of course.

Second, this roulette is done and won't get restarted - I figure the next time I run a roulette, I'll just run a new one entirely.

Third, a commentary on the sheer amount of killer music sent in just 3 rounds. I keep playlists of every round in all my roulettes, and still have the albums saved from my first roulette. Gunship and VOLA are my two favorite artists sent, thanks to Cyril and Tomislav (and I think Buddyhunter and also Elite who sent VOLA in my 2nd roulette as well as this one). Cyril also sent the killer Foxy Shazam song, and although the album is hit or miss, that song is still one of my favorites. Stadler sent Jelly Roll by Blue Murder and that song still kicks ass. Bon Iver, Major Parkinson, Ihlo, The Comet Is Coming, Gary Moore, Michael Camilo, Lettuce, Los Lobotomys, Tori Amos, Acoustic Alchemy (who I've already heard 2 full albums by, simply phenomenal music that I can't get enough of), even Taylor Swift - SO MANY great songs, I have an exhausting, lengthy list of artists to dive into.

So I don't know when I'll run my next roulette, but it won't be with the intention of finding new artists to listen to, that's for sure. If anything, it's more likely to be one simply for the fun of it, because I'd like to run an all-EP roulette like TAC just did. Might not ever go back to the songs, but I'd love to see people's creativity. :)

Thanks to everyone for participating and sorry for cutting it short especially for Big Hath who apparently joined this after not playing in roulettes for a while. Sorry dude, but (I believe) you sent Acoustic Alchemy, and you knocked that one out of the park.
