would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now?
But I had no idea they were from Providence. Wow! That's right in my backyard.
Wilderun are a symphonic/progressive folk metal band from Boston, Massachusetts. They just released a single off their upcoming third full-length.Far from Where Dreams UnfurlIt's an 8+ minute, highly melodic track with prog leanings that's fairly typical for Wilderun, but it doesn't seem quite as obviously folk as Sleep at the Edge of the Earth. Also no growls this time around.
damn, nearly 70 minutes? i think that's the only disappointing-sounding thing about that to me, 'cause that's generally too long no matter how good the material, the last album was just the perfect length imo
Ariich is a freak, or somehow has more hours in the day than everyone else.

Hey dude slow the fuck down so we can finish together at the same time.

AngryMetalGuy just put up a dual review and it's uhh, a rave review https://www.angrymetalguy.com/wilderun-veil-of-imagination-review/
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.
So far, this may be my Album of the Year.
^ My first listen was similar in that it ended to be semi-background, with me being able to pick up cool bits and pieces from tracks I didn't already know. The first listen of Sleep... was kind of similar for me IIRC.It's definitely heavier and a bit darker in overall tone than Sleep, feels like folk has given way for a bit more death metal.
Decided to see these guys live tonight since they're playing at some tiny club and tockets were cheap. And apparently I got through the doors early enough to get a free copy of the new album, so yay
Middle east upstairs. Not even downstairs!
