This is agonizing.  There isn't a part of Scarred I don't love, and I love every bit of Octavarium starting with the synth solo just past the 12 minute mark.  However, the intro to Octavarium (and especially the part before JR switches from the continuum to the steel guitar) is a complete waste.  The bulk of the Someone Like Him and Medicate sections are good, but not great.  I gonna go with Scarred by the thinnest of hairs.
