Frogstomp may be up Tim's alley. After, not so much.

Freak Show still had a bit of the grunge but you could see the style shifting already. 

I should find both my cd's of Frog and Freak and revisit.

I remember thinking they sounded just like Pearl Jam when I heard Tomorrow (more just the vocals probably).
