Petrucci's setup

I haven't seen anyone talk about John's system switching patches for him automatically this tour.

Thoughts?

His tech, Maddie, has a redundant pedalboard off stage and will sometimes do JP's switching for him.

Yes...  :lol
Jordan took Moore's boring, pedestrian parts and elevated them considerably to take them from barely palatable to stellar.

Maddi has ANOTHER pedal board out of people's sight, if JP is near MM (for example) and he needs to press some of the pedals but can't because he is "away" Maddie can press the pedal on the other pedalboard and the switch will happen just as if JP has done it himself.

Thanks, gives some clarification to follow the rest of the discussion

I had a feeling I just shouldn't have replied to this thread. Should have followed my gut.

I had to rewatch the video to see what was actually said...  And it didn't really clarify anything as to the question.  Sometimes JP does the switching, sometimes I do.  True that there are two pedalboards. One onstage and one off.  The can control one another while controlling the entire rig.
I hope that answers your question.

The man has spoken! :hefdaddy
It sounds like, "ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk." Instead of the more pleasing kick drum sound of, "gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk."

I had this thought this morning.  Picture a JP Majesty guitar sitting on the edge of a precipice in all it's glory but impossible to get there to retrieve it.  Meanwhile, the song "Out of Reach" is blasting symbolizing that it is way out of my price range...  Perhaps that song is symbolic about the unattainable Majesty.. Hmm!  :justjen
