Make your own DT 35th Anniversary Setlist

Next year will be DT's 35th Anniversary, and while we know they'll still be doing the D/T + SFAM thing next year and there's no plans for a 35 years anniv. tour, I think it'd be fun to come up with our own setlist for this imaginary tour, because... why not?

Here are some rules to make it more interesting:

- It's an "evening with" show, which means the length of the show is around 2 hours and 30ish minutes. Two sets and the encore.

- You must represent every studio album, with at least one song from each.

- B-sides and non-album tracks are allowed, but you can't replace an album song with one of these from the same era (you can't replace something from FII with any FII demos, for example).

- Instead of doing the chronological order of songs like they did on Score and the 30th anniversary in 2015, we're doing a reverse chronological order. This means you go from D/T to WDADU. If you choose two or more songs from the same album, they must be one after the other.

- Distance Over Time is their latest, so there should be more songs from this album than the others, and the first 2 songs in the set should be from it. You can also add more D/T songs after WDADU and/or for the encore if you still have time left on the set.

- Everything is fair game for the encore, but please no Pull Me Under, As I Am or The Spirit Carries On

When I first tried to put one together I used quite a few shorter songs, as I didn't think I'd have enough time to play with, but I ended up with lots of free time. So I redid it without having to sacrifice as much and I managed to make something I'd be pretty pleased with. Whether it would 'flow' nicely as a show is another matter, but there's a lot of brilliant tracks and a few that haven't been played for a while.
