Don't do this to me Boskypoo. I already made the decision not to drive to Riverside. Don't make me overthink it.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

There is one song that people have been talking about wanting to see in the set that I'd be really sad if it's rotated in and I miss it.

But... RIVERSIDE

Wait, I figured it out:

During SFAM, DT is going to replace The Dance of Eternity with Raw Dog just to see if anyone notices.

Quote from JBL:

Between the tours we’re going to be doing after Europe we’re introducing new songs, so let’s play a couple of songs from the album that we haven’t played yet. So, there’s all that going on as well.

So I think it's safe to say we can expect AWE or S2N (Maybe Both). I Think it would be nice to see R137 or VK honestly.

If they took out ANTR, that would leave room for 2 more songs from DOT and another older song.

And that would be a great move on their part.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

I hate driving to Riverside from Garden Grove or any other location in the east (Ontario, San Bernardino, etc).  I'm doing it for Switchfoot, I don't want to do it for DT if the setlist is not to my liking.

Hey Bosk,

From what you might know, does it seem like the next leg of concerts will hit the 2 hours and 45 minutes of music the press release hyped up?

Nice - let's hope the band introduces some new songs into the fold.

Already have my ticket to Riverside, but if the setlist reveals to be a rotation of new songs, I will look to travel to El Cajon.

Any news yet on those promised Jan/Feb 2020 European dates?

If it's about a meet-up, announce it soon so I can pre-plan and make sure to be there.  :lol

I'm in Ventura County... I know the feeling. My GF has family in Covina, using their place as a jump off spot is the only way it'd be worth it for me.

Wow, that's even rougher for you if you want to drive east for occasional concerts that is in that area as oppose to either LA or Anaheim.
